Week 7: Xi (the 100 words and sketches)
This week we had to choose what symbol we wanted to use for the letterform project. I chose Xi because I found it the most appealing symbol from the Greek alphabet, plus I thought of very creative ways ti implement the symbol, display name and the type together. I hope you enjoy the text and concepts I thought of.
The facts you chose were very interesting, and since I don't know much about the Greek alphabet, it really did help me learn more about Xi. I might recommend maybe trying to format it into a flowing paragraph, just to help the reader be able to read it in a more fluid manner. The one line saying "The symbol represents the constant cluster" interested me the most, and I'm wondering if there's a way you can provide more detail on that.
ReplyDeleteYour sketches are all very interesting too, I think it helps that they all differ from one another. It's obvious that you explored a lot of methods and ideas, and I think they all seemed to work really well. The second row of the top image really caught my eye!
