WEEK 16 (FINALS): The Final Project.

Image
Well its been a ride. Time flies to be honest, but this is my final graphic designer exhibit booklet, poster and ticket! I overall think it turned out very nice and professional. One thing I would've probably fixed is maybe the subtle text but overall I'm really proud of it. I hope y'all enjoyed and happy end of the semester!

Week 15: Ticket

Image
This week I worked on the ticket. Overall, its just the poster simplified to the max, its the title of the exhibit and thats really all I had time for. Next week I will post my full project!  Overall turned out pretty nice :)

Week 13/14: The Poster Idea

Image
For my poster idea, I made it just like the cover of my booklet but I just added a bit more red rectangles and added the venue on the lower left corner.

Week 13: Booklet final

For this project I went for the first thumbnail I did because I thought it would look best. I added a bit more detail of course because the thumbnails were a basic rundown of what the text should look like. Overall, I think it turned out fairly nice and I hope y'all enjoy!

Week 12: Graphic Designer Thumbnail Sketches

This week I made the three versions of my book and how they could look. Overall I went for just a more professional look and easy to read for the viewer to enjoy the book but also maybe keep it after.

Week 11: Chip Kidd Graphic Designer Project (500 word plus venue)

For this week I chose the graphic designer Chip Kidd as my topic for the Graphic Designer project. I really enjoyed learning a lot about this individual, especially the fact he worked with the same author who created the iconic Jurassic Park. He also was able to created his own comic books for DC which is one of my favorite companies ever. Overall really enjoyed the first part of the project and I hope you enjoy what I found out about Chip Kidd.  Chip Kidd  “The Graphic Superhero” Charles “Chip” Kidd was born September 12, 1964 in Reading Pennsylvania.  As a little kid, Chip was fascinated with superheroes and comics, and actually became the reasoning behind why he strived to become a graphic designer later in life. His personal favorites were Batman and Superman, which he wished someday he would be able to design one of the comic books. Chip, when finished in college, freelanced in a publishing house in 86’. This ended up to be where he became an associate art dire...

Week 10:

Image
For this week, we were asked to created 16 thumbnail sketches for the publication design grid project. I tried to play around with putting the title in very different places and even putting images over it. I also tried to make the text complex or simple at times, to be very appealing  to the viewer. Hope you enjoy!
